The fact that the limitadas of the brand named after the anti-monarchist revolutionary hero have names such as "Soberanos" or "Regentes" is just as comical as the three-year delay in release. But never mind - after the phenomenal "New Gold Medal", Bolívar spoils us with the next tobacco marvel! Smoking time approx. 55 - 70 minutes.
Flavour
The similarities with the last limited editions under Simón's name cannot be denied. Although the strength of "Tesoro" and "Soberano", which went out of fashion in 2024, is not achieved, anyone who only associates "harmless" filigree cigars with Habanos can warm up here in a similar way to the "NGM". In terms of flavour, a concentrated firework display of intense walnut, coffee bean and later cocoa/earth aromas unfolds, delicately caressed by a hint of the citrus-fruity ethereality so characteristic of Bolívars, which occasionally plays into the floral here. The subtle sweetness of meadow honey gives way to espresso, liquorice and ever more nutty flavours in the powerful finish. Bomb!
