Flavours
For beginners, but also for the everyday life of experienced aficionados, the Guantanamera portfolio is always an excellent choice. The nicotine content is quite low, but the flavour, which varies in nuances from format to format, is pleasingly full-bodied. Good idea to choose a smaller format from the beautiful Habanos collections in the sliding box! The 5 classic „Marevas“ with approx. 40 – 50 minutes smoking time each are the perfect introduction to the world of Cuban tobacco. Note: The year indicates the year of launch, not the year of packaging („Boxing Date“)! More recent editions exist.

In detail: Bolívar Tubos No. 2 – strong (!); leathery, woody, earthy, citrusy, spicy. Hoyo de Monterrey Coronations A.T. – light; hay, milk coffee, cedar, Röstaromen. Montecristo Petit Tubos – medium-strong; cocoa, coffee, spices, some hay. Punch Coronations A.T. – medium; fruity, creamy, sweet, woody. Romeo y Julieta No. 2 A.T. – medium; nutty, leathery, röstig, slightly woody. Thanks to the practical tubos, the cigars are also easy to take along individually in any situation.

Montecristo – mittel-kräftig; Kakao, Kaffeebohnen, erdig-würzig, leicht süß. Partagás – kräftig; Harz („Weihrauch“), blumig, Gewürze, erdig, Karamell. Romeo y Julieta – mittel; ledrig, nussig, fruchtig, dezent süßlich. Alle Zigarren sind hervorragende Repräsentantinnen der jeweiligen Marken-Charakteristik mit formattypisch unkomplizierten Raucheigenschaften.

A particularly fine selection was packed into the collector's box in Cuba in 2016: 2 of the 6 cigars in the large torpedo format are not available outside the sampler (the HdM was once available as a Limitada), the Cohiba is only supplied in very small editions. Each of the Habanos burns for about 75 – 95 minutes.
