This classic is probably still known to experienced pipe smokers under the Dunhill banner, as this brand sold the rights to the recipes to Peterson. If you want Latakia flavour without too much oomph, this is the perfect blend for you!
Flavour
The balanced blend of two different Virginias, some Latakia and other first-class Oriental tobaccos strikes a wonderful balance of sweetish-creamy and spicy-spicy facets. The latent "bready" sourness of the Virginia is barely noticeable here, which is evidence of careful fermentation. Multi-layered spicy tones of an "oriental" character are charmingly interwoven with the unmistakable smoky and incense notes of Latakia, which nevertheless lack any penetrating character here. An "only" medium-bodied, strikingly mild English blend!

The giant among pipe filters – Vauen Dr. Perl Junior activated charcoal filters. In the meantime, these are the most used filters in Germany. The special feature of the Vauen filters is that a ceramic flap has only been integrated at one end. The other side has a blue plastic cap (tasteless) that is inserted into the mouthpiece. Very easy to use.
